This Friday, May 18th, will be the Advanced Transmission 30 for the Front Wheel Drive division. It will be a 30-lap, $400-to-win feature event. FWD will qualify 1-lap after the Limited Late Models, with $100 going to the Fast Qualifier. The top 6 qualifiers will be locked in and will run the Quick Six Dash, with $100 going to the winner of the dash. The remainder of the starting lineup will be determined by (a) heat(s). Car count will determine how many heats.

Also, the Modified Street division will be featured in the Battle at the Bullring as the cycle as at the end. They’ll qualify to set the lineup for the feature, with the Top 4 qualifiers advancing to the Battle at the Bullring for an 8-lap, $100 winner-takes-all event immediately following intermission.

Also, Modified Mini will have a Weekend Sweep Bonus up for grabs! Any driver that can break out the broom and sweep wins in Modified Mini at both the Spring City Raceway on May 18th and Wartburg Speedway on May 19th, will pocket an extra $100! Cool huh?!

So get ready, this Friday night will be a great night of racing! ALL classes will still be in action!

News & Notes for May 11th

This Friday, May 11th, we will have bonus monies up for grabs! The Limited Late Models will run for a $200 bonus for anybody that can win after starting in the middle of the field or worse to win (must have a minimum 6 cars start the feature). Thanks to our wrecker man Dwight and Barnes Racing Engines!

Additionally, Barnes Racing Engines are putting up a $100 Fast Qualifier bonus in the Pony Stock division. Pony Stock will get 1-lap qualifying to determine their starting positions. If there is 10 or more cars signed in, we will lock in the top 2 qualifiers and run 2 heat races. 9 cars or less means 1 heat race with all competitors. In addition to Pony Stock, the Limited Late Model drivers will get 1 lap qualifying. If there is 10 cars signed in, we will lock in the top 2 and run 2 heats, if there’s 9 or less, we’ll run a single heat with all competitors.

So that right there is plenty of reason to head out to The Bullring this Friday night for another great night of racing!!

Advanced Transmission 30 set for May 18th

On Friday night, May 18th, the stars and cars of the Front Wheel Drive division will be front-and-center and in the spotlight as Mike Ellis and Advanced Transmission will be the sponsor of the division! The Front Wheel Drive division will be a $400 to win feature event for 30 laps around The Bullring! The FWDs will qualify, with Willie giving $100 to the Fast Time Qualifier, and he’s also putting up $100 to the winner of the Quick Six Dash for the top 6 fastest qualifiers! The remainder of the field will be set by heat races and a last-chance race, if needed! Richard & Tammy Ford of Speedway Videos is presenting the Speedway Videos 300 this Friday April 27th at Spring City Raceway.

300 laps? NO! $300 extra smackers added to the purse! $150 to win and $30 to start the race. Two heat races with a 25 lap feature.

Also, Speedway Videos will sponsor the SMLRS frisbee toss. Each driver will throw a signed frisbee into the crowd. The person holding the winning driver’s frisbee will win a race dvd from Speedway Videos!
