Although the forecast keeps changing, it’s clear that the forecast is a little iffy for Saturday. From 30% one minute, to 60% the next, it’s evident that there’s going to be a fair chance at rain on Saturday. Due to the forecast calling for “Scattered” Thunderstorms, we will make a decision early on Saturday morning regarding practice on Saturday, and make an announcement on the makeup date. So don’t forget the ways to stay informed! Don’t forget, our 2012 season fires off on Friday April 6th with the gates opening at 5:00pm with the drivers meeting at 7:15pm and hotlaps getting underway at around 7:30pm!

Introducing: Battle at the Bullring
Spring City Raceway is proud to present the “Battle at the Bullring” which will take place EVERY WEEK beginning with our first points race on April 13th! Here’s what will happen: Beginning April 13th, each class name will be thrown into a bucket. One lucky fan in attendance will randomly draw one (1) class name for the night, and that class will run the “Battle at the Bullring” following their heat race. This will take place every week with the previously chosen class being omitted until the cycle is complete. After all classes are chosen, they’ll be thrown into the bucket and randomly drawn again. The “Battle at the Bullring” will take place through the season finale! Each “Battle at the Bullring” will be an 8 lap, winner take all race, with nothing but bragging rights and money on the line. It will NOT alter the starting lineup for the feature. If one heat race is ran, we’ll take the top 4, if two heats are ran, we’ll take top 2 from each heat.

¤ Each week, a lucky fan will randomly draw a class to run the Battle at the Bullring
¤ After the class is chosen, it is omitted until every class has ran the Battle at the Bullring
¤ The distance: 8 laps
¤ $100 to win, winner takes all
¤ Eligible Drivers: Top 4 feature starters (top 2 from 2 heats, or top 4 if only 1 heat is ran)
