Modified Street Regulations

1.BODY.  aluminum or fiberglass allowed.wedge type or stock appering.no flat tops. 72" max width. no bump or rub rails on the outside of body.
2.SPOILER. 8" high,72"max width. 3 supports. 8" high,10" long max.
3.CHASSIS. 
a. stock front clip must have stock lower control arms.
b. front clip must be from bellhousing to steering box  min.
c.no aluminum frames
d. aftermarket uppers allowed.
e. aftermarket spindels and wide five hubs allowed
f. rack and pinion allowed.
g.any rear suspension allowed.    
h. max tire. 29.0/11.0-15
i. coil springs -5"min. diameter. except coil-over's
j.
k. no external canister shocks.
l. steel brake rotors and calipers.
4.WHEEL BASE. 104" min.
5.WEIGHT. 2500 lbs  
6.WHEELS. any aluminum or steel racing wheel, 14" max width
7.FUEL CELL. steel shell with min.2" steel straps.
8. FUEL. gasoline only. no additives or nitrous
9.DRIVE SHAFT.  any steel type,must be painted white with number on it. safty loop mandatory.
10.REAR END. any quick-change,floater,oem allowed .
11.TRANS. oem or racing transmission ( must have working clutch and reverse )
12. a. 363 cubic in. max
b.  oem steel block
c. steels rods only,no aluminum or titaninum.  6.60 max lenght.
d.crank must be a min. 50lbs with crank gear. 3.50 max.stroke.
no lightweight cranks with mallery in mains. 
e. aftermarket heads allowed. 23 degree standard runner heads. must be as shipped from factory. no mods. allowed. no porting or polishing allowed. no angle milling allowed. Zero tolerance.
max valve. 2.02/1.60
OEM HEADS. any modifactions allowed.
NO ALUMINUM HEADS ALLOWED. OEM OR AFTERMARKET.
f. any flat top piston allowed. no gas porting allowed.
g. roller rockers allowed. no shaft mounted rocker arm
h. Intake. Tube frame cars. Any duel plane intake,must be as cast no modifacations allowed. No deburing or gasket matching allowed. Max. 1 “ carb spacer.
 Clip cars and full frame .. any aluminum or cast iron intake allowed. Max. 2 in carb spacer 
i. one four barrel carb. 4150 series only. choke horn may be removed. max.   one gasket per surface.
j. any flat tappet cam. oem lifter bore. no mushroom lifters
k. wet sump oiling system only. no external pumps.
l. max engine set-back ,4" from center of ball joint.
13. IGNITION. Clip cars and full frame. aftermarket ignition allowed. no crank triggers.
Tube chassie . hei ignition only. May run aftermarket coil and ignition mod. Must be mounted in stock locations.
NO TRACTION CONTROL DEVICES OF ANY KIND ALLOWED.
