Pony Stock Regulations

1. Body.  sheet metal bodys allowed. must be stock appearing. no wedge type bodies. tail must be enclosed. 
2. Spoiler. 6" max. heighth. no wider than trunk lid. side supports allowed  6" max . heighth.  10 max length.
3.Chassis. 
a. stock frame only. no round or box tubing frames. may repair front and rear from shock towers foward or rearward with tubing. 
may run tubler front and rear bumpers.
b.front and rear suspension must remain stock. everything must be in stock location.
jack bolts not allowed. however if your car has them spring plates must be removed. bolt can stay in car . must be non functional
c.stock steering box and linkage. heim joint allowed on outer tie rods only. no exceptions... no aftermarket steering
d.stock appearing shocks. must be in stock location
e.steel rotors and calipers. 
f. may remove inner fenders and radiator support. front radiator support can be tubing .
4. Wheel base     108  max.
5.wheels.  steel wheels only.  8"max. beadlocks allowed
6. Fuel cell. racing fuel cell only. must be straped with 2" min. steel straps.
7.Fuel . gas only.  no additives.
8. Drive shaft. steel only. must be painted white. must have driveshaft loop.
9. Rearend.  any oem allowed. must have steel tubes
10.Transmission. oem. only,must have working reverse and working clutch. no ram couplers
11. Flywheel.  oem steel flywheel. no lightened flywheels allowed. may run sfi rated clutch. no mini clutches or ram couplers.
12.Engines.
a. oem engines
b. oem steel block
c. oem steel rods. must be stock length and stock journal. no polishing of beams. no grinding allowed except on balance pads to ballance engine.
d. oem steel crank. must remain as cast from factory. no polishing or grinding allowed. must be stock stroke.
e. oem steel heads. may be flat cut . .150max. zero tolerance.   steel valves only. must be oem diameter and length. no porting or polishing of head on intake or exaust. no aftermarket or aluminum heads even if oem.
f. flat top pistons only. must be cast or hyper.    no forged or lightweight pistons allowed.  zero deck. zero tolerance
g.oem rocker arms
h. oem intake. must be as cast from factory. no deburring ,porting,polishing or gasket matching allowed.
i.flat tappet cam only. may be hyd. or solid.   .450 max lift measured at retainer.  zero tolerance. noadjustable cam pullys allowed.
j. one two barrel 2300 series carb only. choke horn may be removed. no other mods allowed
k.wet sump only. no external pumps
l.headers allowed
12. Weight. one pound per cc.   ex.. 2300=2300lbs   2500cc=2500 lbs
13.Engine setback.   must be in stock location
14.Traction control is not allowed
15. Ignition. must be oem

Protest for pony stock will be.
$250.00 to pull head, track retains $50.00
$250.00 to check bottom end. head must be pulled but will not be teched. track retains $50.00
$500 complete teardown.  track retains $75.00
all cars must have inspection hole in bellhousing for flywheel inspection. must be able to see front and rear of flywheel. clutch for hole is acceptible for 
clutch inspection.  protest on clutch and flywheel is visual protest and must be done priar to start of feature.
