Super Street Regulations

1. BODY. American made 108-inch wheel base car. May hull doors, hood, inner fenders, and trunk. All glass and plastic must be removed. May run aftermarket front bumper covers, may be fiberglass or plastic. All cars must have steel firewall, floor pan to behind driver. Rear bumper cover optional.

2. SPOILER. Maximum 6 inches high, no wider than deck lid, may have maximum 3 side supports, maximum height 6 inches, max length 8 inches.

3. CHASSIS
A. Stock frames only.
B. Stock lower control arms, may use tubular non-adjustable uppers. May be altered to allow for caster and camber. Must be in stock location. Must remain stock appearing.
C. Stock spindles only.
D. Standard steering box and linkage,steering quickener optional. Heim joint allowed on spindle end of tie rod. No rack and pinion.
E. Rear lower control arms must remain stock. Both lowers must be same length.
F. Rear uppers may be shortened for pinion angle. Must be same length. No heim joint ends.
G. Coil springs must be minimum 5 inch diameter. Stock appearing racing springs allowed.
I. Roll cage must have a minimum of three driver door bars and two passenger door bars. Must have support bars behind driver and must be welded to frame at all contact points.
J. Steel brake rotors and calipers.
K. Jack bolts allowed - must add 50lbs .
L. Spring spacers allowed. Non-adjustable
M. Shocks must be stock type-non adjustable. No external canister. Must be mounted in stock location.

4. WHEEL BASE. 108” minimum

5. WHEELS. Steel wheels, max 12" wide. May run bead locks.

6. FUEL CELL. Must be enclosed in steel can, with mini,um 2" wide straps around cell.

7. FUEL. Gasoline (no additives or nitrous)

8. TIRES. Any tire, maximum size 29.0/11.0-15

9. DRIVE SHAFT. Any steel type, must be painted white with car number on it.

10. REAR END. Any OEM rear end. Floater rears add 100lbs.

11. TRANSMISSION. Automatic must have working converter. OEM manual must have steel flywheel and pressure plate. No mini-clutches.

12. ENGINE.

13. HEADS.
Any American standard PRODUCTION heads. OEM may run aftermarket OEM REPLACEMENT heads. Driver must provide documentation for aftermarket heads. If heads are not OEM replacements YOU WILL BE DQed. if driver does not have documentation on heads, YOU WILL BE DQed. No bowtie or angle plug heads allowed. No aluminum heads allowed. No porting or polishing allowed.
No titanium valves. GM, Ford, Chrysler, 2.02/1.60 max. 351 c. 2.19/1.7 roller rockers allowed. No shaft mounted rocker. May run stud girdles.
No titanium locks are spring retainers.
Any flat top piston allowed. No gas porting allowed.
Any aluminum or OEM cast iron intake allowed. No porting or grinding in throat area allowed. No gasket matching allowed.
One four barrel 4150 series carburetor only, may remove choke horn,must remain stock. $250.00 buy rule on carburetor.
Flat tappet cam only. OEM lifter bore. No mushroom lifters.
Wet sump oil pump only. No external pumps.
OEM ignition system, may run aftermarket coil and modules. May lock advance.

13. WEIGHT. 3200 after race with driver. Jack bolts add 50 lbs, ex. 3250.

14. TRACTION. NO traction control of any kind allowed.
